Vers

1 wird geladen ... And Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his stead, and strengthened himself against Israel.

2 wird geladen ... And he placed forces in all the fortified cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.

3 wird geladen ... And Jehovah was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the first ways of his father David, and sought not unto the Baalim,

4 wird geladen ... but sought to the God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.

5 wird geladen ... Therefore Jehovah established the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat tribute; and he had riches and honor in abundance.

6 wird geladen ... And his heart was lifted up in the ways of Jehovah: and furthermore he took away the high places and the Asherim out of Judah.

7 wird geladen ... Also in the third year of his reign he sent his princes, even Ben-hail, and Obadiah, and Zechariah, and Nethanel, and Micaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah;

8 wird geladen ... and with them the Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tob-adonijah, the Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, the priests.

9 wird geladen ... And they taught in Judah, having the book of the law of Jehovah with them; and they went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught among the people.

10 wird geladen ... And {Or, a terror from Jehovah}the fear of Jehovah fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat.

11 wird geladen ... And some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents, and silver for tribute; the Arabians also brought him flocks, seven thousand and seven hundred rams, and seven thousand and seven hundred he-goats.

12 wird geladen ... And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles and cities of store.

13 wird geladen ... And he had many works in the cities of Judah; and men of war, mighty men of valor, in Jerusalem.

14 wird geladen ... And this was the numbering of them according to their fathers' houses: Of Judah, the captains of thousands: Adnah the captain, and with him mighty men of valor three hundred thousand;

15 wird geladen ... and next to him Jehohanan the captain, and with him two hundred and fourscore thousand;

16 wird geladen ... and next to him Amasiah the son of Zichri, who willingly offered himself unto Jehovah; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of valor.

17 wird geladen ... And of Benjamin: Eliada a mighty man of valor, and with him two hundred thousand armed with bow and shield;

18 wird geladen ... and next to him Jehozabad and with him a hundred and fourscore thousand ready prepared for war.

19 wird geladen ... These were they that waited on the king, besides those whom the king put in the fortified cities throughout all Judah.

2Chr 26,13 wird geladen ... And under their hand was {Hebrew: the power of an army.}an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.

2Chr 26,14 wird geladen ... And Uzziah prepared for them, even for all the host, shields, and spears, and helmets, and coats of mail, and bows, and stones for slinging.

2Chr 26,15 wird geladen ... And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by skilful men, to be on the towers and upon the {Or, corner towers}battlements, wherewith to shoot arrows and great stones. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

1Chr 27,25 wird geladen ... And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jonathan the son of Uzziah:

1Chr 27,27 wird geladen ... and over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: and over the increase of the vineyards for the wine-cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:

1Chr 27,28 wird geladen ... and over the olive-trees and the sycomore-trees that were in the lowland was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:

1Chr 27,29 wird geladen ... and over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:

1Chr 27,30 wird geladen ... and over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite: and over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.

1Chr 27,31 wird geladen ... All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.
